Austin Powers

The Spy Who Shagged Me
Austin Powers himself

Reviewed August 1, 1999
Even better than the original, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me , has to be one of the funniest movies of the summer of 1999. This movie is so hilarious because it pokes fun of so many sexual stereotypes.

At the beginning of the movie, British agent Powers (Mike Myers) finds himself once again single after his lover turns out to be an evil FemBot sent by Dr. Evil (also played by Mike Myers). Austin again finds lasting love later in the show, all while battling off another scheme by Dr. Evil and Mini Me to take over the world. Perhaps the funniest parts of the flick are those involving Fat Bastard (again, played by Mike Myers). Other highlights include an opening banquet scene, and a very long explanation of Dr. Evil's strangely shaped space craft.

I laughed through the whole movie and give Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me  five of five stars.
